Kimon's Book

A TRIBUTE TO KIMON BISOGNO Pencil, Ink & watercolours, edited digitally in Adobe Photoshop. My best friend and soulmate, "my vrou," as we used to call each other, tragically died in a shark attack while holidaying together in Plettenberg bay in September 2022. This artwork is part of a unique, collaborative book by artistic friends and our AAA School of Advertising graduation year - a dedication to her daily magic, the manifestation of love, light and devotion to all forms of life. Kimon was connected to Source, inside and out. Her commitment to life, generous soul and unconditional love inspire people to live their best every day, no matter the circumstances. The artwork embodies our fondness for quirky creatures, including our spirit animal, the frog. I love you deeply, dearly and forever; rest well, my majestic little one.

Kimon leaves behind her life Italian partner, Diego and their three-year-old daughter, Luna-Stella. They gave birth to the award-winning restaurant Ferdinando's Pizza, voted 2022's best Pizzaria in South Africa. Her legacy lives on in her humanitarian work, activism in her community, and The Obs Pasta Kitchen, which she started and ran for over five years until her untimely passing.
