Michelle Solomon works from her picturesque Stellenbosh studio and favours collaborations that support her vision of creating inspiring work.
From a young age, Michelle has practised traditional art and print-making techniques and graduated from the AAA School of Advertising Cape Town in 2004. Since then, she has combined her experience as a fine artist, textile designer, trend analyst, and in-house artist to refine her global aesthetic.
Her authentic creations are enchanted, with elegant linework, rich textures, vivid colour, and fluidity. Ink, paint, pencil and digital editing offer infinite expression in striking compositions, contrasted with balance and intensity.
Eccentric yet considerate detail characterises her approach to art, style, and fashion but does not define it.
